It's back. For all who missed out on Mods Mayday @ Ya Ya's, the poster kind of speaks for itself. A night of up-tempo Mod classics, garage, freakbeat, ska, R&B, northern soul ect. Basically, all of the best. It'll be damn fun, Loads and The Crooks are both great bands and good friends. We're all playing for charity, however, last year's rider was incredibly substantial and kept us well happy into the wee hours.

Expect a packed Devilles dancefloor, and good vibes all-round.

Also, we've been kindly invited to headline a show at The Norfolk, Freo's best, and one of our favourite local venues. It's all part of Fat Jackal's June residency. Cheers lads.

Thursday 8th June is the date to put down. We're on stage @ 11:15 (yeah it's a late one for those of us with AM jobs) but who gives a fuck), stick around and we promise you'll see action.... and maybe some destruction.

We guarantee that we'll emerge after the long weekend with an EP in our hands! (well, atleast the pre-master mixes) We're heading to Upton Street on Saturday morning to lay down some final Rickenbacker overdubs & backing vocals, before we cut the final mixes over Sun/Mon/Tues. Needless to say, it's been quite an interrupted process recording this EP. With gigs, parties, uni, full time work, it's been hard to string multiple sessions together. Not often that you get a 5 day weekend, so we're gonna take it! We were considering uploading some demo samples but we figured if y'all have waiting this long, might as well wait a few more weeks to hear the real deal!

Grab your Fred Perry, Harrington and desert boots and head down to Ya Ya's to celebrate May day with a Mod Alldayer featuring all things touched by the hand of Mod. There'll be scooters, R&B, dancing girls, Rickenbackers, skinny ties, Weller & much more! These kinda shows are essentially the ones we enjoy playing the most and we gotta hand it to Al & the crew at Ya Ya's for putting on the event. Hopefully the start of something here in Perth!

Tickets available at the door on the day, not too sure of the price but a tenner should do fine! For that you get 8hrs of live Mod/Beat/R&B/Garage & Northern Soul.
